At the Queens Dental practice, we offer two Denplan membership schemes that allow you to spread the cost of dental treatment and will help you to keep on top of your dental health.

We offer Denplan Care and Denplan Essentials membership. We also offer a range of finance options to help spread the cost of dental treatment.

What is Denplan Care?

Denplan Care is a comprehensive dental plan covering preventive care and any treatments needed to restore and maintain your dental health. Your Denplan Care payment plan is tailored to you. There is no reason to pay for work you don’t need. Before you join a Denplan Care plan one of our dentists will carry out a thorough assessment to determine what treatments you are likely to need to establish and maintain your dental health. The treatment costs are set out and you pay a monthly fee to cover the work.

What does Denplan Care include?

• Dental check-ups (as clinically necessary)
• Dental hygiene visits (as clinically necessary)
• Dental x-rays
• Necessary fillings
• Necessary extractions
• Periodontal treatment
• Preventive dental advice and therapy
• Crowns, dentures and bridgework (excluding laboratory fees)
• Dentures (excluding laboratory fees)
• Root canal treatment

What’s not included with Denplan Care?

• Laboratory fees for crown and dentures
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
• Orthodontics, Invisalign, implants and cosmetic treatment
• Sedation services
• Extraction of wisdom teeth
• Treatment that’s not clinically necessary

Denplan Essentials

Denplan Essentials is an easy way of keeping up the great habit of regular check-ups with your dentist, so you’ll always get expert advice about keeping your teeth in great condition and avoid any surprises. Your plan also includes dental xrays, hygiene treatment and worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover. A dental emergency helpline is also included.

What’s not included with Denplan Essentials?

• Restorative dental treatments. Such as fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures, dental laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
• Invisalign, orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees
• Treatment carried out elsewhere
• Extraction of wisdom teeth

What is the difference between Denplan Care and Denplan Essentials?

With Denplan Care you have a pre-assessment to ensure you have good dental health. You pay a higher monthly fee but any dental treatment you need is included in your plan. With Denplan Essentials you pay a lower monthly fee. You do not need a pre-assessment by the dentist in order to sign up. A Denplan Essentials plan will entitle you to a certain number of check-ups and hygiene appointments each year however dental treatment is not included in your plan. If you need any dental treatment you would have to pay for the treatment you need. You do get a 10% discount on dental treatments as a Denplan Essentials member.
