Priya qualified as a dentist from the University of Bristol in 2010. She was awarded membership of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, by examination in 2012, and in 2018, she completed her postgraduate Master’s degree on the topic of Dentine Hypersensitivity. Priya has worked in a number of teaching and district hospitals throughout the UK and has always maintained a position as a dentist in general practice with a special interest in periodontology and gum disease management.
Priya is currently in the second year of an intensive postgraduate training programme to become a specialist in Periodontology and dental implants at Guy’s Hospital in central London. In that role she treats patients with advanced gum disease and, in conjunction with King’s College London, is carrying out research on the treatment of molars (back teeth) that suffer from advanced gum disease.
At the Queens Dental Practice, Priya offers expert advice and treatment for patients who suffer from gum disease. Together Priya and Alice our hygienists work together to stabilise and maintain the gum health for our patients.
